The bride tribe is meant to be full of the bride's nearest and dearest folks, the family members and true-blue friends that have truly been there through thick and thin. For some odd reason, there are wedding parties in which a random woman that has little to nothing to do with the bride is invited to be a bridesmaid. In Crazy-Ex Girlfriend, protagonist Rebecca Bunch (played by Rachel Bloom) is invited to be a bridesmaid at Josh's (played by Vincent Rodriguez III) sister's wedding, even though the two have them barely interacted since the beginning of the show. Of course, this move is meant to advance the plot and romance between Rebecca and Josh forward, but it still makes no sense that the two of them aren't really friends. In today's 'Am I the A$$hole?' post, OP told us that her brother is getting married, and his fiance asked her to be a bridesmaid, which she agreed to even though the two barely know each other. The weird thing is that neither the bride or the bridesmaids will reveal the color of the bridesmaid dress in the group-chat no matter how many times she asks, so the situation has officially become shady.
