Tenant Accused of Scamming By Entitled Roommate After Asking For Utility Payments
Over the past few years there have been a lot of jokes about living in communal situations in cities like Portland, Oregon and New York City. We've seen people reject roommates based on their astrological signs (Sorry, Capricorns). We've seen memes about roommates with trust funds named 'Sock.' Today we are covering something that is entirely worse.

Our story comes courtesy of frustrated Twitter user @princessashtray, who shared this screenshot of texts with her roommate:
It's incredible that asking someone to do something as normal as paying their bills can garner accusations of scamming an autistic lesbian. But here we are, in 2022, marveling at this exact situation.

To say that this real-life situations is unfair would be an understatement, and Twitter users were eager to share their sympathy for OP, as well as their own roommate horror stories, and, of course, memes.
