Hi, friends, and Happy Saturday! As a little Caturday treat, we thought we'd compile a collection of the most qualified cat captains getting ready for take-off. If you're a cat owner, you're familiar with the airplane ears phenomenon. Airplane ears is when cats flatten their ears replicating an airplane that's about to fly somewhere far far away. They say that cats go into airplane mode when they're frightened, intimidated, or curious… but if we're being completely honest, sometimes our cats are so dramatic they get ready for take-off even when we do the simplest of things like cutting cucumbers.
But despite all that, it is one of the ways they communicate with us, so we should respect it. What beholds is a list of 17 airplane ear cat photos and short descriptions of why they're getting ready for lift-off. Some are scared of the basement, some are not impressed with their new siblings, and some are… simply sleeping. Lots of cute fluff, we promise!
We're obsessed with this girl, she's such a mood. We're saving this photo for later, we just know that it will come in handy when something disappointing happens (which let's be honest happens a lot). So we just send this picture to whoever and words aren't even necessary. We think this photo speaks volumes.
You know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words and it really is. First of all, the overall vibe of this kitty makes us feel safe. We'd definitely know we're in good hands if she was the captain of the aircraft. She looks like the sweetest little angel and that nose! Heart - melted.
