There seems to be a secret language that is known only by doggo owners. We have yet to come across such an involved conversation on eye crust. But hey, there is a first time for everything! You doggo owners will certainly have a lot to relate to while reading through this adorably weird thread. Or will you?
So, eye crust is a phenomenon that we are sure you are all familiar with. It happens to us humans, and it happens, sometimes in an extreme way, to our doggos. And doggo owners, being the caring compassionate folks that they are, feel compelled to alleviate their doggos of this phenomenon. Because if doggo owners won't do it, then their doggos probably will…onto their furniture.
"My dogs hate it. One has learned to tolerate it most of the time, but the other will climb, crane her neck and run away if she can manage to"
Not everyone's a fan!
"I massage my dog's head first and talk to him while looking him in the eyes (lots of "You are such a good boy"...), rub my fingers 'round the top of his head, his cheeks and chin, and then gently work my way up to slide the eye boogies away."
Seems like a winning tactic.
