Happy Friday, friends, enemies, lovers, frenemies, acquaintances, best buds, BFFS, loyal followers, and rivals. We hope it treats you well. As meme collectors and internet experts, our work days aren't supposed to be bad. Imagine the disbelief people express when I say that making a living by enjoying and distributing memes is less than desirable. Sometimes it's downright miserable. Having to hit higher wordcount expectations, write more content, and create time where there isn't any are just some of the joys we've come to expect. IT doesn't help that most of the memes suck, these days, either. Sometimes it just feels like this is a never=ending cycle of pain, reminiscent of the titular character's struggles in Norm McDonald's "Moth Joke" It's a lot to handle.
When the going gets as tough as it feel right now, it should come as no surprise that one of our coping mechanisms is memes. It's not a coincidence that my screen time is at a staggering 7 or 8 hours per day. But it is disturbing. Since I'm ruining my life one meme at a time, I've decided to take y'all own with me. Do you have what it takes to surrender to the memes and give up on life itself? Let's find out.
