Hey, y'all! Aren't kids just the cutest lil things you ever did see? Not. If you ask us, cats are always the preferable companion. It's all downhill once kids gain the ability to talk, they say the most bizarre things. Hey, just because we prefer cats over kids does not mean you have to feel the same way! We respect your ability to love both kids AND cats. We can't relate.
Today we came across a silly and kind of adorable Twitter Thread outlining a comedic exchange between a first-grade student and his teacher, where the student refers to his teacher as a 'feral cat.' At first, the original poster thinks perhaps he meant to say 'single' but was quickly shown that that was not at all the case. The hilarious exchange seems to stem from the student being unfamiliar with the fact that his teacher is actually married, does not own a car, and much like a feral cat walks everywhere.
"Me: So my husband -- First grader: You have a husband? Me: I do, the whole time you've known me. First-grader: Oh. I always thought you were feral. Me: Er, do you mean 'single'? First-grader: Whatever the word is that you use for stray cats."
Try to contain your laughter, folks.
Ms. Driscoll, or feral cat? Or both?
Both.
