There are so many dating apps out there competing for our attention, and they need to work hard to make their particular app stand out. For example, Bumble stands out by having the women text the men first, which isn't how courtship traditionally works. In addition, Hinge tries to make it stand out as a dating app by positioning itself as 'the dating app meant to be deleted' because it encourages getting into long-term relationships. The dating app teams are always coming up with new features to keep singles on their specific app and make more money, but sometimes, they don't have the best ideas. Twitter user AubryAndrews posted a tweet expressing her concern about Tinder's new 'Pin Chat' feature, which allows users to pin their chat so the person they're chatting with remembers the conversation. All this for the low price of $3.99. Aubry claims that the feature encourages people to harass other people even though they may not be interested, and the people of Twitter seem to be in agreement.
