Larry The Cat Reassuringly Announces He Will Not Leave His Home After Boris Johnson's Departure (Twitter Thread)

As people who love cats possibly a bit too much, whenever something happens to a politician on the news, our first thought is… but what about the cat? Maybe it's the wrong thought to have, but come on! Rehoming cats is something that should never be done lightly! So, when we saw the news about Boris Johnson quitting, we could not help but think about Larry. Larry the cat - the icon - one of the most amazing cats on twitter. 

Smh, we were worried. But Larry calmed us and everyone else down by announcing that he will, in fact, not be leaving. Which only makes sense. Cats always come first. This couple found that out when they bought a house with 16 cats in it, and this woman found it out when she moved into a home and didn't realize it came with an abandoned cat. Why should it be any different with any other cat? It shouldn't. That's the answer. Larry comes first.

    It's kind of amazing, actually. To have a cat serve so many prime ministers over the years. Who knows how many plans this cat put into action? Or how much closer these relationships brought cats to world domination? We're sure that Larry uses his time in at this place wisely. That's part of why everyone loves him.
