Men Attempt To Interpret What Certain Phrases Really Mean On Dating Apps

All the singles may be on the dating apps, but that doesn't mean they speak the same language. Even though two singles might hit it off in person, things might get lost in translation over dating app texts. One person may have texted something as a complete joke, but the other person might take it seriously and decide not to answer because of it. Even though you might find someone attractive in person, you might have immediately swiped left on their dating profile due to something as minor and petty as a spelling mistake. In today's AskMen post, men discussed common phrases they hear from women on dating apps and how they interpret them. We didn't realize men analyze our dating app bios so deeply, but here we are. In our opinion, many of these men misinterpreted our bios, and their analysis of our characters based on our bios are pretty harsh. Have a look below to see what we mean.

    In our opinion, many of these interpretations are inaccurate, but we can't change their perceptions.

    Font - "Live love laugh" (definite pass- not original and thinks dating as fantasy rom com) "Not looking for a hookup". (I date outside my league but haven't accepted it enough to lower my standards so I get used a lot) Must have a job (I date in the 45-55 range and since I'm retired, obviously you can't understand the difference between not working and having income) I'm a decorator (was a non skilled stay at home mom and is looking for someone to finance their lifestyle)
