"It's the extra time that they get that's the big raise." said lloopy. "If you work an 8-hour day and you have a 2-hour commute and you sleep for 8 hours and eat for 2 hours, that leaves 4 hours of "leisure time" for you to do with as you wish. If you take away the 2-hour commute, then you now have 6 hours to do with as you wish. That's a 50% raise in free time. And that is absolutely massive."
