Foodies on the internet will literally put chorizo and avocado in a tortilla and call it a "health protein wrap" or some sh*t—like, my friend in Christ, that is a burrito. Maybe a very bland one, but still, come on. You're not fooling anyone. Recently, a Mexican TikToker posted a video that had everyone in the comments section "Mexicanizing" food popular with "white people"—so things like hotdogs, coleslaw, and mayonnaise. Some of the new food names they've come up with are simply hilarious.
"White person sauce"
"Drowned chicken"
"Sh*t with No Flavor"
"American-style Mexican sandwich" (Torta is a hard one to directly translate… But you should try one, they are SO good.)
"White sauce"
"Sausage tacos"
"Sadness and bullsh*t salad"
"Potato guacamole"
"Plate of whatever the f*ck"
"Cold little piggies"
"Dry Salad"
"Dried meat with some random liquid" (This translation stumped me pretty hard. If you've got a better one, let me knowww please!)
"Pan of vomit"
"American-style Mexican soup" (Again, pozole is hard to directly translate—it's a delicious traditional Mexican soup/stew.)
