Fast Food Fail: McDonald's Messes Up an Order SO Badly, Sparks the Internet to Accuse Employees of Pulling a Prank

We all know most fast food places aren't the best listeners when it comes to taking your order, especially McDonald's. I mean, give them a break. They're expected to live and thrive off of an antiquated minimum wage here in the U.S. and the place is usually swamped with entitled customers trying to get their cheat meal as fast as they can so they can pretend it never happened. So, it makes sense for the employees to maybe not put their best brain functions forward…

Sometimes, however, an order gets messed up SO badly that it just feels like all the employees MUST be laughing their a$ses off at you. This is what happened to TikToker Jessica Gardner. 

“McDonald's I just wanna talk…”

Gardner was having a bad day, so she decided to treat herself before heading into work with a comforting McDonald's meal. She ordered a burger and some nuggets, a classic feel good feast. However, after a few bites into her burger she tasted like something was off. When she looked under the bun, she realized there was no patty. They had forgot the burger part of the burger… 

Weird, but she wasn't about to break down yet, she was already going through it, she didn't want this meal to be a part of that downward spiral of her day. This meal was meant to uplift her spirits. So she kept her hopes up and decided everything was fine, she'll just eat the chicken nuggets and everything will be alright. 

But McDonald's really said “yes, today Satan," because when she opened the container that was supposed to be filled with those delicious chicken nuggets, she found an egg… Technically just a really reallllyyyy undercooked chicken I guess? That's when Gardner had finally had it and burst into tears. How could McDonald's mess up THAT badly?? No burger in the burger she ordered and an egg in stead of chicken nuggets???? Like… WAT?!

Viewers of her heartbreaking (but also pretty funny) video are saying this had to be a prank. Nobody could mess up an order that badly…

Follow Up:

She says she went back and they fixed the order, though she never did end up getting the chicken nuggets she wanted so badly. But when she returned the order the employees straight up laughed in her face about it. She understood, I mean, the absurdity of this mess up was extreme, but like, she wasn't having a good day, could you not? Also, are they laughing with her because of the absurdity, or are they laughing because they pranked her hard??

Other viewers say they have also gotten such insane wrong orders before that it has to be an inside joke with employees at this point. One viewer commented that they ordered chicken nuggets, and when they opened the container it was filled with a bunch of pickles and no nuggies… Another person said they ordered a Coca-Cola and instead got a soda cup filled with black coffee… 

Only one person offered a potential reason why the mix up happened: she said that vegetarians will order an egg on the side to replace the patty, so maybe she accidentally got a vegetarian's meal by mistake? Either way, this mess up felt personal.
