Nobody enters a marriage thinking they're going to get divorced. Okay, maybe a couple of people out there are entering a marriage for the wrong reasons and know in the back of their mind that it'll eventually come to an end, but we're talking about the general population. Divorces may be emotionally challenging, but it's better to go through the difficult process rather than drag out a relationship that isn't working even longer. Some parents stay together for the sake of the children, but it's likely that staying in a relationship that isn't working will be more detrimental for the kids. Even if the couple doesn't have kids, they probably shouldn't be staying together either. We're sure getting divorced isn't an ideal milestone in your love life, but it's really for the best.
