Anyone that owns a cat knows that cats are, basically, as*holes. In a good way, of course. Be it morning, day, or night, you can count on your cat to be the biggest troublemaker in all the land. Whether they're yanking plants or knocking things down off every counter, there's nothing really we, the mortal bunch, can do about it. At this point, all that's left is to accept defeat and destiny. Or should we say catestiny? Probably not.
We recently stumbled upon a Twitter thread where cat people showcased photos of their cats along with short stories about all their mischief and problematic behaviors. As you go through these, you'll quickly realize that our cats are basically the same and we're all living through universal experiences. We're not sure whether that'll bring you a sense of comfort and/or closure, but know that you're not the only one with an as*hole cat.
"How dare you, human, come this close to me and touch me? Have you forgotten about the boundaries we established years ago? Shall we go over them again or do you think you can remember them on your own? Do better. Thanks."
"Mr Scratch, 11 years and still providing. Yes thats his outdoor house when he wants it. Usually found sleeping on my bed or my sofa, sorry, his sofa. Mouse emoji for covering actual mouse or small rat."
Well hello there, Mr. Scratch. So… you like to scratch your owners, huh?
