Is there any easier path in life than being a nepotism baby? For those who are born to parents with a lot of wealth and influence that they're willing to share, it seems like all they have to do is sit down and wait for success to come to them.
It's a bittersweet pill for the rest of us to swallow when we realize that the kids with connections dominate pretty much every industry out there. However, not all those who win the parental lottery are quite as privileged as we might think.
This has been amusingly illustrated by a recent interview with Idris Elba, in which he revealed that his daughter auditioned to be his on-screen daughter in his new movie Beast. Admitting that she didn't make the cut because "the chemistry wasn't right for the film", fans on Twitter were quick to joke about the matter-of-fact rejection. Guess it's nice to know that not every privileged person gets their career handed to them on a plate.
