Language is a gift that so few of us use to its full potential. Every day, we recycle the same old phrases, jokes, and even conversations to create a kind of mutual understanding with one another, but it can easily get boring if we're not careful. This is especially true of our so-called more "colorful" language, or that which we use to put others in their place. It may feel good to swear, but you've got to be talented to make it into an art form. This is doubly true of our insults that are even more PG: to express displeasure or rage in a witty way that accurately describes it can be harder than you think. In case we're stuck for the next time we have a good reason to put someone down, r/rareinsults is here to provide us with some inspiration. The poetry of hate is a lot more fun than all that lovey-dovey stuff.
