Some cats were meant for the great outdoors. Some…less. Most American cats are confined to their homes, and that is not necessarily a bad thing. Cats live secure spaces that feel safe and comfortable, like boxes for example. Though it is always an adventure when a cautious indoor cat gets their first taste of the great outdoors. Their facial expressions pretty much tell us everything we humans need to know about how our cats are feeling during those exciting and somewhat overwhelming moments.
We have to admit, there is something quite special about seeing little adorable reactions from cautious indoor cats seeing the outside world for the very first time. Just have a look at their silly facial expressions for yourselves. We adore the moment where they get their first whiff of nature and their curious senses start tingling, the confusion and fascination becomes super apparent in their sweet little feline faces. So. Much. Cuteness.
