Font - Crystal Gilroy I used to have a cat named Baxter who was the He was infamous for mouthiest feline I've ever known "talking back" if you told him to do something he didn't want to do. Me: "Baxter, get off the table." Baxter: "Rowr!" M: *snaps fingers* "Get off the table!" B: "Rrrroooowwwwrrrr!" It usually took about 3 tries and the middle name to get him to listen. He would jump down, UT not before yelling at me first Like Reply Hide Send Message 2d 2

They really do love arguing with us sometimes. It's amazing. They have no shame, no regrets, no second thoughts. They do what they want to do when they want to do it, even if they know that they're not allowed to. And on top of that, they act as if we're the ones inconveniencing them when we ask them to stop. Smh, hooligans.

Cat - Top fan Lisa Cherrie Jasmine wanted to do something not allowed. When I told her no, she meowed back an extended explanation about why she wanted to. I replied, "i know, but it's not safe and it's not ok.' We went back and forth a couple times until I realized I was having an argument with my CAT. She's 16 now, found her when she was 5 weeks old. Okay, but for real, we really do feel like we understand them sometimes. Not literally - obviously. But we're so close with our cats, we know them so well, that sometimes, when they reply to us, we understand. We know their tone, we know their stance, we know exactly what they want, so no wonder this person didn't catch themselves talking to their cat like that. Just seems like a sign of a lovely friendship between them to us.

Font - Top fan Cindy Bullard I always greeted Toby with "Hey, you!" when he would pass by or approach me in the same area of the house. One morning, he entered the bathroom. Just as I looked at him he mewed it in my tone and pitch. It stopped me in my tracks when it sounded like he was translating my phrase in his language. He was such a smart boy! Font - Daniel Ellis Came home from work tonight and I normally cuddle my grey cat before bed. He wasn't having it. I asked nicely and he yelled at me. I told him that was rude and he let out a tiny meow of apology. Then he looked at the female cat and up at me. Can't look weak in front of the woman folk Like Reply Hide Send Message 1d

Font - Top fan Suzanne Lavande It would be very rude of me not to answer Nelly. She is stone-deaf now but she sees my lips moving... I also converse with every cat I meet on my errand anywhere here in town: It is nice to be on friendly terms with the actual people who run the jobs here ! Surprisingly, when I don't know the name their staff gave them, they also respond to names I decide would fit: so I have a "Romeo" on my way out (his people call him Chico, he IS a Romeo, also very shy, because

Font - Susanne Kubler-Crowther Caught my cat by the bins in our communal car park, asked him why he was there. He was like a kid with hand in cookie jar stuttering innocence "ak-ak-ak-ak". Told him to come to me but he ran off. Was waiting by the garden door when I got in "Hi mum! How's your day been?" Like Reply Hide Send Message 1d

Font - Chanda Walker Tabitha has buddies outside that she loves to watch. One is a lizard (a brown anole), the other four are birds, a cardinal, bluejay, mocking birds. When she does not see them she comes to us and meows like she is being murdered. Then trots while meowing towards her window (which ever one she wants to see). Lately it is lizard. If they are not there she throws a fit. Bites my feet, or growls b/c I didn't make the lizard show up. I talk to her, and tell her I can't make them s
