'It was clear he had never walked through a doorway before': Woman Rescues Stray Dog Wandering Around Park at Night, Immediately Takes Him in as a Foster

It's amazing how we see people walking their dogs around nearly every single day, but unless we ask we really have no idea how the two found each other. And some people have some pretty incredible stories. That's not to say that there are any inferior ways of meeting your future dog, but it's always interesting to hear the more unusual stories. People have taken in dogs from friends and fallen in love, people have gone to adoption centers for one dog and somehow ended up with another. People have found dogs while traveling, through Facebook, from Santa. People even find dogs when they least expect it, going for a walk with their own dog in their neighborhood. This woman spotted this stray at night while she was with her pup. Without hesitation, she took him in as a foster and began taking care of him as one of her own. I try to make sure all of my foster dogs see the best side of humanity in me so that they can move on with trust and confidence.

He even got to stay for a day with one of the guys that was at the dog park that night.

He just spends his days romping and derping.

So I went to the dog park with my dog a little over a week ago, and we ended up finding a dog there that had been abandoned, and I ended up fostering him. And I've been a little bit nervous about the dynamics between this dog and my own dog, because my own dog was a cruelty case at one of the shelters here in Houston, and she has a bit of a problem feeling comfortable around bigger dogs. It's nothing aggressive. It's just like he's just scared. But, like, literally yesterday this started, and I can't get it to stop.
