Cats… cats come in many varieties. And we don't just mean in terms of looks - of course, some cats are chonky, some cats are orange, most cats have two ears, but some cats have four ears. Cats are different in personality as well. We would like to think that all of our cats are at least somewhat intelligent, right? We'd like to think that we did our best job raising them, you know? But… while some cats are incredibly smart, and the chaos that they cause is purposeful, other cats are… well, they're kinda dumb, but dumb cats deserve love too.
And since, just a little while ago, we showed dumb cats a whole bunch of love, today, we will be focusing on the hyper intelligent cats. We'll be talking about the kind of cats that managed to outsmart their humans - even their humans, yes.
"She taught the puppy to climb up, but not down, the cat tree, so now I'm constantly getting out of bed to retrieve the puppy so she has opportunity to get comfy on my pillow before I get back to bed!"
"My girl, Shooter, has a thing for plastic bags. One day a few years ago, the only plastic bag available to her was one holding several books. I later walked by and saw all the books laid neatly on the floor and the bag gone."
"I unplugged the touch lamp on my nightstand as Emmett started turning it on in the middle of the night when he wanted food. I woke up a few nights later to another light on. He figured out how to turn on my book light."
