In 2016, NYC banned dogs from riding the subway unless they were certified service animals or they are "contained" while being transported. Many took this as a dog being carried in a bag works fine. So people with small dogs like chihuahua or dachshund had no problem carrying their little four-legged friend on the subway in a tote bag or something else they could swing over their shoulder. But what about the tons of people in the city with large dogs? How could these pet owners get around this law. I'm sure many of you have seen the loophole dog parents have figured out, and it just gets more and more creative every year. One of the most popular ways for "containing" a large dog on the NYC subway? Putting them in an Ikea bag and cutting holes for their legs so they can still walk. It's quite chic, actually. The photos will make you laugh every time and so enjoy!
