Meet Hermes, a dramatic itty bitty chihuahua recently viral on social media due to his Oscar-worthy acting skills. His mom posted a video showing off his beautiful talent and it skyrocketed with views. It shows the little doggie perfectly fine until his mom says “scene.” She pre-prefaces the video by asking if you want to see why Hermes is such a good actor.
She then says “scene" and starts acting like Hermes is hurt. Hermes instantly snaps into character, starting to shiver and howl like his soul is slowly escaping his body. He dramatically stares into the camera with eyes that are beyond puppy dog eyes, but more like a wounded solider trying to beg you with his last dying breathe to tell his wife he loves her. He is able to carry this character so dramatically until his mom asks if he wants to go for a car ride. That must be the lingo for “end scene," because then Hermes instantly snaps back to reality and he's all good, showing you that the wounded solider was all just an epically talented act.
He also is an expert acting in sleeping. That's right, if you need a dog to dramatically fall to sleep, Hermes is your man. He knows all the perfect flares. Like doing a big stretch and having a big yawn before giving a little huff of air and slowly closing his eyes—for dramatic effect, of course. And then nothing can wake up Hermes until the scene is completed, which means he will never break character.
And the Oscar goes to Hermes!
