A Spot of Memes for Gentle Entertainment

It goes without saying that we all have screen addictions these days, but something that is harder to admit is how many of us also have a meme dependency. There are stages to this: it starts with sending our friends a few funny images here and there, and before we know it the whole thing escalates into being unable to have a conversation without making some of the dumbest references imaginable. It's a slippery slope, and one that many of us have accidentally found ourselves down over the years. Once we get past a certain point, it makes sense to keep on going. Being a meme connoisseur might be a useless skill, but at least it's usually a fun one. Not everybody has the knowledge to make these kinds of judgments. That said, we might get to a point when it starts to look that way. For now, though, bask in the privilege.
