It really is amazing how after a long enough time of having a cat, we get to the point where we know them and their mannerisms so well that we legitimately feel like we can understand them. Sometimes, it gets to the point where we start having whole conversations with them without even really noticing. They meow, we know what they want, so we respond in kind, and before you know it, we are having full back-and-forth conversations with our cats. 

Now, some cats have a lot to say - they're really talkative, while some cats are a bit less forthcoming with their words. But regardless, it's not the cats who are the truly amusing ones in these situations. We have caught ourselves saying absolutely ridiculous things to our cats, and we figured that there is no way that we are the only ones who did.
