Some say that the closest thing to a real-life superhero/supervillain is Twitter user @dril. He's anonymous, has a platform he uses for good and evil, and has an iconic look. Nobody knows who he is, but we all secretly want to know who is really behind that blurry picture, those swanky sunglasses, and his hilarious tweets.
The same could be said for Minecraft YouTuber "Dream" who, until yesterday, had never shown his face to his 30 million subscribers. Dream has been building his gaming empire behind a smiley face icon for years, shielding his true identity. Yesterday, he posted a video titled, "hi, I'm Dream," showing his highly anticipated face. Fans and non-fans of Dream had a variety of reactions to his visage on Twitter. Some were proud of him, some compared him to other YouTubers, and others judged his physical appearance for better or worse.
