We've been poring over rescue pet vids for as long as we can remember. From their harrowing backgrounds, to everything these animals have overcome, we have nothing but pure love for these guys and their rescuers. When that dog or cat smiles bravely after suppressing it for so long or runs in an open field so freely, our hearts begin to sing. So it's no wonder that we're here to provide you with some pics of the sweetest good bois (and gals) in honor of their rescue transformations.

Probably the most honorary takeaway from these images is to see their happy and healthy faces shining back at us. I know this is the biggest reward for me.
