As you get older, the only thing that becomes more obvious about your social life is the fact that you would really rather not have one. Introverts everywhere are becoming actualized, coming out of the woodwork and realizing that being social isn't all it's chalked up to be.
Going out to clubs? Too loud and sweaty. Starting dinner dates at 9pm? Not awesome, I'm going to just eat all the appetizer bread from prolonged starvation. Trying to have conversations with your friends while talking over riotous sports fans at a bar? Overrated.
You know what is really an incredible invention? Beds. Super comfortable, reclined positioning, and they're in my home. No need to leave the house or change my clothes (sheesh, no need to even wear clothes if you don't feel like it). So to everyone who would really rather not go out, power to you! Stay in you jim-jams and watch one more episode. You earned it.
