"So I have a funny story about the video of the cat that signs when she wants food. I decided to teach Shiloh to tap her mouth for her treats by putting her paw on her mouth, saying treat, and then giving her a treat. After three days of this she jumped on my lap and started bopping me around the mouth, and mewing. When I didn't respond she started doing it again and again. I finally realized she was doing exactly what I taught her. She has been doing this for about 7 years and I still laugh."

"During a period of time when I had a flare of an old back injury, I attached a piece of clothesline to the laundry basket to avoid lifting it and still be able to get it to the laundry room. This guy decided that it was his Uber. Furthermore, he taught his nephew about the special Uber. That nephew taught his nephew. We've had three generations of Kitty Uber in our home. It started long before Uber was ever conceived!"

"My older cat doesn't really care for human food. One day he just wanted to sniff my food and I let him and he walked away. Now whenever I eat he has to smell my food first."

"My Tiger came to us covered in fleas so I'd pick him up and comb him on the bathroom counter. 8 years and 15lbs later he still jumps up on the counter and expects a combing/brushing. He even sits with his back to me ready."

"Kitsune learned that if she wants me to get up all she has to do is push my water glass off the bedside table. I switched to a bottle with a lid and now she just sits on my face to wake me up."

"If the dogs earned a treat for doing what I asked of them then surely the cats need lots of treats because they don't need to be told what to do (One of 2 cats shown)"

"My cat Kevin is addicted to KFC chicken, and I swear he knows what the bucket looks like. He will jump right up on the chair and wait for his portion of chicken, very impatient as it cools!"

"Accidentally dropped a dollop of whipped cream in the floor beside her. She quickly gobbled it up and now everytime she hears me shake anything like cream in the kitchen she comes sliding in and stands like this until I give her what she is asking for. She also begs for Manzanilla olives too."

Font - Michael Iannone Not my cat, my former roommates cat. I trained him to ride around on my back/shoulders by hopping onto me when I stood by his cat tower. He took that to mean that that anytime I was by the tower, it was time for a ride. He then took it to mean that anyone who stood by the tower was for climbing on too. Several people got annoyed at these shenanigans. Like Reply Hide Send Message 2d 113

Font - Tammy Marie Mine all catch spiders/bugs. And bring me the dead carcasses. My old man cat did it once about ten years ago and I made a big deal about it and gave him treats. He's done it ever since. And as I got other cats, he must have taught them, too. Lol. All five do it. They are indoor kitties and I have a totally bug free house. Not even a random fly. Font - Lee Brannon I had a cat who had serious separation anxiety so I started giving him kitty treats on my way out the door in the morning to help him be less anxious about me leaving. Well. That cat has since passed away. His sister still demands her morning kitty treats, because you can't give just one kitty treats if you have more than one. Like Reply Hide Send Message 2d 44
