Cross-Eyed Shelter Cat Steals the Hearts of Millions on the Internet, Is Still Looking for His Furever Home

Ben Franklin is a rescue kitty cat at ‘New Milford Animal Welfare’ in Connecticut. The shelter recently posted a video of him on their TikTok and it instantly blew up. The cross-eyed cutie went viral and has over 10 million views and over 7 million likes. Plus, the comment section is everyone swooning of this feline fella.

Though he's become and overnight Internet celebrity, Ben Franklin still seems to be in search of his forever home. The shelter write, “Ben Franklin can be a little moody, but this cross eyed kitty has the cutest face!” The little guy seems to have been through a lot already and deserves a loving home. In November he had have bladder stones removed and was placed on a strict urinary diet. The tabby was surrendered to the shelter after his human passed. She was an elderly woman and the two were said to be extremely bonded. He's five-years-old and already neutered. Though he needs some warming up to you, he seems like he still has a lot of love to give and—as the shelter put it—who can resist the crossed eyes??

The comment section is flooded with viewers completely in love. They're commenting things like, “Were not making eye contact, he's making eye contact with himself, and I love him so much for that.” And, “Please tell me a million people have applied to adopt him. If not, I’ll be in CT this weekend.” Though he hasn't been adopted yet, hopefully his new-found internet fame will get him a loving home and furever hooman soon.
