Watching your friend go through a breakup is hard. They were a ball of sunshine when they were dating a person that made them truly happy, but now they're not in a good place. Obviously, you may have noticed a couple of fights between their significant other here and there, but you didn't think it was anything serious. At the end of the day, if it's not working out, you should rip off the band-aid before it gets any worse. The best thing you could do right now is be there for your friend because that's what good friends do.
