'Kitty & Wild Billy the Kid:' Most wholesome bond blossoms between a rough and tough wilderness man and an abandoned puppy he finds in the woods, goes viral

It all started one day when a hunter returned to his post in the woods and instead of finding game, he finds something that changes his life forever. There in the brush is a small scared little brown dog. This hunter's name is Billy Nichelson and he's posted the journey of finding this sweet pup on his TikTok since the beginning.

When he saw the pup he was appalled at the though that someone dumped this poor little puppy all alone in the woods. By just looking at this man, you'd be quick to judge him as rough and tough and someone who isn't phased by the cuteness of a sweet little puppy. But you would be extremely mistaken. In the video, you hear Nichelson gently calling out to this puppy, being very patient with her and when she finally approaches him, he gives her so many scratches and instant love. The dog simply melts into his lap and he knew he would not be leaving her behind. 

He then took the baby back, thinking that maybe she wasn't dumped, maybe she was just lost? She was so extremely sweet, though still scared, but it was a possibility. So he seemed to try his hardest not to get attached, but the dog was instantly bonded. Over the next couple of days in the woods they both took care of each other. You see this terrified dog transform into this happy little puppy, wanting to play and cuddle. And you see this big rough and tough wilderness man let this gentle side of him shine, a side that nobody would've assumed he had in him at first glance. 

Viewers following the beautiful friendship blossom are obsessed. The dynamic between this dog and man is the most wholesome thing on the Internet and truly defines the saying of “man's best friend.” To make things even more adorable, Nichelson named the dog “Kitty.”

In many of the earlier videos he was still in search for the pup's owners, thinking that maybe she had a family out there looking for her. Viewers flooded the comment section saying he simply cannot part with that dog. That the dog chose him and he had no say in the matter. 

Recently, just a couple of days ago, he posted an update video confirming that he went to the vet and they found no chip or records of the pup. Finally, it is official, “wild Billy the kid” and Kitty are each other's forever home. Viewers and fans of the duo were elated and begged him to start an Amazon wishlist so they could contribute to this beautiful friendship. 

One day a man went into the woods expecting to do a little hunting and instead ended up giving his heart to a dog lost in the woods. Maybe neither of them knew they were looking for each other, but they definitely needed each other.
