Application to Work at a Cat Café Requires Hand-Written Cover Letter and Ridiculous Creative Project

Can you imagine actually applying to this? This literal minimum wage job requires the most extensive application process, which includes three letters of recommendation, a hand-written cover letter/essay, and a weird creative project to show your entrepreneurial spirit. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit by u/PrintmakerDay, who came across the application online. 

 

Let's take a moment to unpack this application process for a bit longer. Firstly, are we serious about having to provide THREE letters of recommendation? Colleges don't even require that, yet a cat café does?! Next, there's the hand-written essay. This is the Digital Age, not the Pleistocene Era. Who are these owners? Now, onto the creative project.
