A Squirt of Memes to Flush the Pipes

If there's a theme that dominates the times we live in, it's things being too much. We are overtired, overworked, overstimulated and have too many options when it comes to things to do, and places to be. Snowflake or not, it's easy to get overwhelmed. Memes don't really help in this regard, they just add to the pile of random information that we're expected to absorb. It's a lot more low-stakes than everything else, though. Instead of being the cause of our worries, they are one of the more fun symptoms of them. We can't exactly act like this is amazing, but it's not terrible either. There aren't that many forms of escapism that are this accessible, or simple to be involved with. There are no need for all the other dumb thoughts when the internet has churned out some even dumber ones for us to think about. Can't go wrong with that.
