Gee whiz, I do love me some memes! Silly ones, argumentative ones. Ones that use words, ones that uses pictures, ones that are just random bits of video spliced together. Memes that everyone likes, and the kind that inspire terrible discourse for weeks afterward. Ingesting random memes is like going into an ice cream shop and picking a scoop of every flavor, except it's less likely to make you diabetic. Its effects are purely on the mind, and what a range of ways we have for these effects to take place. If we keep at it, we may be able to one day communicate solely via internet memes. Like, actual deep conversations as opposed to endless threads made up of reaction images. In the meantime, we've got to build up our vocabulary with a list like this. They may be fun, but they also require our dedication to the cause.
