    "And he's a magnificent prick" is pretty much the attitude that every cat owner has about every cat ever. We're totally whipped for them, don't get us wrong, but that doesn't mean that we're not aware of just how annoying they can be. In fact, their diva attitudes are part of why we love them as much as we do.

    And this is why it happens - why we end up with jerk cats in our families. It happens for the simple reason that we don't choose our cats. Rather, our cats choose us. We don't really have a choice in the matter at all, and therefore, we have to live with the consequences.
