18 Dumb Fails Where High Expectations Did Not Honor The Dull Reality

It's fair to think that when you buy a product, it will meet the basic expectations of what is promised, right? Wrong, apparently. Per usual, our high hopes are shot down. Expectations are what we think will happen, while reality is what actually transpires. There seems to be too much disparity between our expectations and reality. The question is, are we so naive as to think that everything people assure us of is bound to happen?

 

C'mon though, why promise something when you can't deliver? Especially something as simple as ice cream? Y'know, the SpongeBob one. Yeah, everyone knows that one. Well, we might as well make the most of it. As we scoured through Reddit today, we found some pretty promising fails, where people did not get what they were promised.
