Weddings are stressful, but there is a certain level of crazy that you're allowed to act when planning one, and this just doesn't make the cut. @TheBishesDaughter took to Reddit to vent about a ridiculously unfair situation she'd found herself in, regarding her 'ex friend's' wedding. The bride was planning on taking a trip with her friends for her bachelorette party and told OP (Original poster) the amount she expected to pay ($650). OP was very clear with the bride about her financial situation, and they agreed on a number. The budget was subsequently blown when the bride booked the Airbnb.
At first, things seemed fine, as the bride notified OP, and apologized. She told her that it would be understandable if she had to back out, and offered to reimburse the amount she had already put down. OP had no choice but to drop out because the amount that the bride was asking for was $1500.
The amount is a little shocking, considering this is a bachelorette party, and the bride expected all the guests to put down that amount from their own pocket. But planning a wedding takes its toll, especially on crazy people, and unsurprisingly, the bride promptly uninvited OP from the wedding, told her that 'finances were tight' and she will refund her when she can - and then blocked her. People are absolutely crazy.
