Is Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone a Christmas movie? Scholars remain divided, but it's a well know fact among Potterheads that the Harry Potter movies are often a favorite to watch during the holidays. The scene with Ron and Harry celebrating Christmas together is too pure for words, and who among us hasn't wished we could spend the holiday within the walls of Hogwarts?
I feel like every Harry Potter film gives me different seasonal vibes. Obviously, Sorcerers Stone and Chamber of Secrets are for Christmastime because they remind us of the innocence of childhood. Order of the Pheonix gives me big January and February vibes; who knows why? In the springtime, I like to watch The Half-Blood Prince and The Goblet of Fire. Prisoner of Azkaban is the definitive Harry Potter movie for autumn and back-to-school season. And, of course, the two Deathly Hallows flicks are perfect summer movies; they bring me back to July 2011, when it all ended.
