When your cat knocks things off of your bookshelf and onto your head, does your heart sing? When your precious kitty cat curls up at the foot of your bed unobtrusively, do you squeal and shout? When your cat just sits there staring off into the distance as if their lives couldn't be more boring, does that excite you? Well, these may be signs that you are suffering from a severe case of Captivated Attention Tomcat Syndrome (otherwise known as CATS). That's okay, this isn't a mortal illness and there has never been a hospitalization, but the bad news is… there is no cure. Once you've caught this affliction, for the rest of your days, you'll see a cat doing literally nothing and you will fall head over heels for that animal. To be fair, there are many others that suffer from CATS who are happier with their lives than they were before diagnosis.
