'Basically out of state tuition for Reese Cups': Dude confesses to overcharging 5,000 people at snack stand

For most of us, the worst thing we ever did in high school was skip class or stay out too late on the weekends. For this guy, who shared this years-old secret on the r/Confession page, he did something apparently much worse, according to some commenters: he swindled thousands of people out of their pocket change as they bought snacks! 

The story goes that this dude was in charge of a snack table at his high school's sports games. But without any type of menu dictating prices of snacks, he took the initiative to be a little sneaky. This poster actually answered lots of questions in the comments, too! The post was pretty polarizing, with some commenters claiming he's a stone cold liar. But other commenters were pretty impressed with this young person's boldness and, well, his ability to steal. The post is tagged with "remorse," and in the comments the OP admitted it was stealing. How much money is too much money, though? No one can quite agree on that.

    Some people pointed out that there's no way teachers or coaches wouldn't notice the missing dinero, but maybe, as OP claimed, it was just him at a table, unsupervised

He just said that to sound like less of a dand be the home town hero. So much easier/profitable, no worries about overheard prices or discrepancies.
