Idiot coworker lies about boss's fake directive to make guy help them while on leave, guy gets the boss involved

There's nothing more infuriating than being relentlessly contacted by an annoying coworker while you're on leave. I mean, they're not even your boss, and for some reason, they feel entitled to having you do your work for them. This goes to another level when this coworker lies and makes up a story about how they're contacting you because the boss asked them to. This is a hard reach and easily verified by asking the boss themself. 

This is exactly what Redditor u/ver03255 did when a new coworker insisted on contacting them while they were on personal leave for their brother's heart surgery. The coworker was determined to get them to help with a client's request for moving a deadline. 

With the boss and HR actually involved, the coworker was forced to retreat. At least their olive branch of pizza will fix everything, right?
