When it comes to dog rescuing, it's never easy. Even if the pooch was never abused and just waltzes on up to you, it's still at least an emotional roller coaster. But it wasn't easy for rescuer Claudia (@rescuewithme on TikTok) when it came to rescuing the dog she named Scar. Luckily, this story has a happy ending.

The pup was a guard dog for a truck yard and the owners did not take good care of him. He was skinny, starving, and nervous around anyone. Claudia spotted this sweet boy and started coming to feed him every day. This was back in 2016… That's right, six years ago she started working on gaining Scar's trust and finally, THIS year it worked.

She constantly asked the truck yard owners if she could take him and help him, because he was getting old and obviously needed medical attention, but they always refused. This year the owners disappeared, abandoning Scar when he was at his sickest. Luckily for Scar, Claudia was jumping with joy that she was able to finally rescue this sweet boy. After six years he is finally being given the medical attention he needs, food, a doggy bed, and the most important of all, love.
