Cats have many superpowers - they have nine lives, always land on their feet, can see well in the dark, can be extremely quiet (but never when we want them to be), but the most prominent one is probably their ability to remain mysterious. Egyptians worshipped cats because of their mystical and mysterious nature, and they still continue to bamboozle us even in our age of modern technology. So without further ado, please allow us to introduce you to the newest feline paradox - the fridge cat.
We've seen cats sitting in weird places, but refrigerators? Why? Perhaps it's because they like the cold, or the smell of the food, but I doubt we'll ever find out the real reason. Reddit has discussed the topic at length, but no conclusion was reached. We just think it's silly and cute, like finding a dollar bill in your pocket you didn't expect. Everyone loves finding money! And since we can't offer you any real money, please take these silly kitties instead.
Maybe she's checking to see if the milk you obviously bought to give to her has gone bad? Or perhaps she's playing a solitary game of hide-and-seek? Potentially she just likes the cold. Will we ever get an answer about Fridge Cat???
This sounds like the logical answer - cats go into the refrigerator to expand! They're trying to make themselves bigger so they can finally start their plan of taking over the world. We were playing right into their hands this whole time - we thought we were building refrigerators for us but it was really in their grand plan! What else did cats secretly invent?
