It sounds like this Monster-in-law is always going to be a problem. Based on what happened in this scenario, the bride probably got a preview of what life will look like as a part of her future husband's family. Thankfully, it seems like her fiancé is understanding and has supported her throughout this ever-evolving crisis.

 

The bride shared her story via this thread on Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit, and although she didn't necessarily confront her future Monster-in-law in the most ideal way possible, this woman clearly had it coming. She invited her friend who, once upon a time, tried to break the couple up. But the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak, was the way in which Monster-in-law verbally attacked the bride's mother. That's a dealbreaker! Folks in the comments section were clear that if the Redditor doesn't establish clear boundaries with this woman now, this wedding and marriage are destined for disaster.
