When it comes to cat rescue stories, we, somehow, even after years of writing and reading them, get surprised by where these cats get found. With dogs, people tend to call in, report them, get them taken into shelters, but cats… people let them stay outside. We have heard of the most insane places that cats have been discovered. From the rescue of a kitten that was left outside in a box in the cold and a story of a kitten found on a concrete wall all the way to a story of a kitten that was found stuck in a PVC pipe caked in mud and a story of a tiny kitten that was found abandoned and tied to a tree.
A lot of cats live just fine outside. That's their home. Taking a feral in might do more harm than good sometimes. But a lot of cats need help, and we are so dang thankful to those people out there who pay attention and help the cats that are in need - even when they can't really afford it. That's the kind of story we have for you today.
We just want to start off by saying thank you. We understand that, for this person, taking this kitten in was not an easy choice, that they can't really afford all that is necessary at the moment. But they are trying their best anyway, hoping to help a little defenseless creature. So, we truly are thankful.
It seems to us, from the look in this kitten's eyes, that she already feels a whole lot better with you than wherever she was before. We hope that, despite the difficulties, you will manage to help her get healthy and find a forever home.
