Dating can be a difficult event for anyone, but there's one type of person that finds the entire ordeal of finding a significant other especially painful—introverts.

We all know them. They'd rather stay ay home, curl up on the couch with a good book and a cup of tea, than go out and interact with other people. They say the weirdest things during small talk, but hit a subject they're passionate about and they'll be the brightest star in the room. Then they're social battery runs out and they disappear into thin air, back to the comfort of their slippers and TV blanket.

Dating apps should have been the ultimate solution—no to low contact, choose people based on interests without all the chit-chat that preludes, then go on a date. Unfortunately, it's never that easy for the introverted crowd.

If there's one thing we know, though, is that nothing vents out frustration over the dating world like tweeting and creating memes, and as far as those go, introverts knock it out of the park.
