We all have them: those dreaded first dates that make us want to crawl under a rock and hide for the rest of eternity. The good news is that we're not alone in our bad date experiences.

On a r/AskWomen Reddit sub-thread, one user asked the ladies of Reddit about the cringiest place a date has taken them. 

From momma's boys to glaring I'm lucky to be alive red flags, these ladies have seen it all. And they're not afraid to share their stories in all their brutal honesty.

Some of them are hilarious and ridiculous, some are cringy, some are downright disturbing, a few are surprisingly wholesome. 

There's even a story from a guy who was responsible for such an awful first date with the woman who ended up (somehow) married to him!

So, the next time you're feeling down about your own dating disasters, just remember: it could always be worse.
