Cats have it pretty good. They have free housing, free food, as much attention as they want (or as little), so why is it that they walk around the house with a false sense of purpose as if they have endless errands to attend to? They are just small, weird, furry creatures with things to do, people to see, and businesses to attend to. Twitter users gathered together to talk about their own busy body cats who seem to have a lot to do despite having everything handed to them on a silver platter with some tuna on the side.
When we work from home (a couple of days per week) we feel like our cats are working as well. They have their own agendas, meetings with the local birds that they can spy on from the window, perhaps they are even meeting with the neighbors on the rare occasion that we let them out into our shared yard. Who knows. Whatever they are up to, they certainly keep busy. We often come home to fresh biscuits that our cats have clearly been working hard on all day. They are always up to something silly and we are here for it.
