Friendly reminder to never steal your neighbor's greens! Now, I may not know anything (literally anything) about gardening, but I do know at least a thing or two about manners. And based on this Redditor's obsession with her garden, I would know to leave her vegetables alone.
This thread, which was posted to Reddit's r/EntitledPeople subreddit by u/yikesladyy, includes an update from the original poster toward the end, which thankfully shows that it was worth confronting her neighbor's girlfriend. Essentially, the girlfriend was gifted some greens from the Redditor on one occasion when they first met. That somehow gave off the illusion that it was ok to take anything whenever she wanted. It's like in middle school when you lend someone your pen just one time, and then all of a sudden, it somehow gives your classmate permission to ask for a pen all the time (or just straight up take one without asking). I guess this scenario just goes to show that middle school behavior can graduate to adult behavior very easily. On the bright side, it seemed that the Redditor stood up for herself and the neighbor's girlfriend may have actually learned her lesson.
