Sometimes, debatably more often than not, red flags are super duper obvious. When you look back at a fail relationship it blows your mind that you didn't seem them before. "Oh, he has sleep overs with his super hot girl best friend?" RED FLAG. "He got mad at me because I said hello to my guy friend… from a distance." BIG 'OLE RED FLAG. Those are obvious in hindsight, but what about the yellow flags? The orange flags? The flags that had you confused and searching for clues.
Recently, a woman took to Reddit to help decipher a recent yellow flag she got in her new boyfriend. They had just made if officially exclusive and she was super happy about that. However, proceeding the new label, he came to her with a a written list of females who "flirt" with him. He said he just wanted to have everything right out in the open right away in case she saw one of these girls flirting with him—so she can be assured that nothing is going on between them.
So many questions popped into her head that did not get answered, even after asking her friends for advice—everyone seemed stumped. Did he just have a super jealous ex and wants to avoid any sort of jealous situations that were traumatizing to him in the past? Or is he an arrogant podcast dude who wants to show off how "desirable" he is and how lucky she should feel that he has dedicated himself to her? Are all these women truly even flirting with him or does he just think a smile means "dtf"??
Redditors came to the aid, however, the flag color still seems undecided. Some say it's just a yellow flag because maybe he's being profoundly honest. While others say that's a manipulation tactic and he deserves an instant red flag.
